Automatic closed captions
Every video uploaded to the Resource Hub now gets captions automatically — no manual work required. The audio is transcribed, turned into captions, and attached to the video within minutes of upload.
Highlights:
- Fully automatic — upload a video and captions are generated from the audio without any extra steps. The status moves from "Processing" to "CC Ready" once complete
- Built-in caption editor — admins can review and correct captions directly in the dashboard, fixing names or technical terms and saving without leaving the platform
- Upload your own — prefer your own captions? Upload a standard caption file and it replaces the automatic version instantly
- In-player toggle — viewers can turn captions on or off while watching, using the standard player controls
- Download and delete — admins can download captions for use elsewhere, or remove them entirely if no longer needed
