Introduction
Welcome to Pearsana Docs — guides, reference material, and integration documentation for the Pearsana platform.
What is Pearsana?
Pearsana lets students securely store, manage, and share verified documents — transcripts, certificates, proof of identity, and more — with educational institutions.
Institutions use Pearsana to request, receive, and verify student documents through the web portal or via API integrations with systems like Slate.
How it works
| Who | What they do |
|---|---|
| Students | Upload documents into their Pearsana Wallet and share them with institutions |
| Organisations | Send document requests, receive verified documents, and optionally deliver them into existing systems automatically |
| Developers | Integrate with the Pearsana API to automate document submission, user creation, and verification workflows |
The Pearsana Wallet
The Wallet is where students and organisation administrators interact with Pearsana day-to-day.
